The Zasavje Regional Development Agency (RDA) organized an event on October 6 in Zagorje to promote the results of the project CompoWIN - More Skilled Hands for Hi-Tech Production. The event was visited by pupils, students, job seekers and those who are considering a career change, as within the COMPOWIN project the project partners developed a comprehensive and attractive training system for working with composite materials, contents for teachers, lecturers and educational institutions, lesson plans, materials for teachers and self-evaluation documents.
RRA expert Dejan Poboljsaj summarized: "The multiplier event was a catalyst for creating additional opportunities for networking and raising awareness about the project, the composite industry, and employment opportunities. All this to support the companies of the composite industry, which are opening their doors wide to new personnel."
Sašo Knez, the director of the high-tech aviation company AformX from Trbovlje, said that this is still true. Their employees have a lot of knowledge, which they are happy to pass on. The CompoWIN project allows them to do this in a systematic way, where together with partners from five EU countries they develop tools for companies and employees in the composite industry, such as the CompoHUB e-portal. Knez emphasized that the need for this kind of knowledge is great, as the company is growing rapidly, hiring new people and expanding production and development.
