BE SOCIAL

Zasavje Regional Development Agency has attended, in Rogaška Slatina on the 14th of April, a meeting of associated partners of the BODI SOC project - Strengthening the supportive environment for social enterprises of the Cohesion Region Eastern Slovenia. The project aims to create an effective and stimulating supportive environment for social enterprises, which will, among other things, contribute to strengthening the skills and competencies of social enterprises, increase opportunities for the establishment of new social enterprises and promote the growth of existing social enterprises.

The project will strengthen the awareness of social enterprises for the development and promotion of social entrepreneurship and contribute to the creation of new jobs and integration of social enterprises with local environment, research and educational organizations and the economy.

Leading partners in the project are RASR d.o.o, Zavod VITICA, Gornja Radgona, so.p. and Zavod SLOKVA, so.p.

The project plans activities in all eight development regions of the Cohesion Region Eastern Slovenia, and will include at least 42 consultations, more than 90 hours of training, more than 24 hours of workshops and non-financial support from at least 42 social enterprises.

The target groups of the project are existing and potentially new social enterprises that are registered or in the process of registration, in accordance with the Social Entrepreneurship Act and other ecosystem actors to support the social economy. The project is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia, MGRT and the EU from the European Regional Development Fund.
